What a Blender Operator will do:
- Clearly communicate with all members of the team to ensure accuracy of ingredients
- Ensure all paperwork is filled out timely and accurately
- Ensure general housekeeping is completed for production areas and warehouse
- Assist in daily scheduled production in all areas, ensuring the processing work is performed in an efficient and productive manner
- Label products according to standards (Product Number, Product Name, Lot, Date, and other requirements)
- Ensure correct ingredients are being used during the production, monitoring inventory on hand
- Coordinate excess ingredients that remain after production runs with the Warehouse Manager for inventory reporting
- Proactively identify and report to Blend Lead or Plant Manager possible safety hazards
- Ensure all products are stored in the conditions necessary to maintain quality
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Willingness to stand for extended periods of time
- Willingness to work in confined spaces, dust, and extreme temperatures
- Ability to obtain Forklift Certificates
