Bilingual HR Representative - Direct Hire
Job Description
What you’ll do as a Bilingual HR Representative:
- Administrate benefits including leave of absence, Short Term Disability meetings, FMLA administration, and handling employee questions
- Assist with recruitment processes such as posting job openings, conducting initial screenings, and coordinating interviews
- Meet with managers and supervisors to develop specific recruiting plans, and partners with them to determine staffing needs
- Process job requisitions and manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Use traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates
- Implement advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates
- Responsible for employee off-boarding by performing such duties as: paperwork completion for terminations and exit interviews
- Support compliance with labor laws and internal policies
- 2+ years of experience in a Human Resources (HR) or People Operations role, ideally in a generalist capacity
- Ability to work independently
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher)
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Must be professional in dealing with personnel issues including confidential information
