What you will do as an Associate Service Technician:
- Assist with installation and service of all water conditioning systems, including competitive systems, in accordance with local codes
- Respond to customer requests/inquiries courteously and without delay; take appropriate and immediate action to resolve complaints
- Communicate clearly and positively with customers
- Secure customer’s property always, i.e. house, keys, security code, lockbox combination; take reasonable steps to avoid damage to customer property
- Test untreated water to determine the correct equipment setting
- Assist Service Technicians, Senior Service Technicians and/or Lead Service Technicians with installs and servicing of customer water treatment equipment
- Test treated water to determine performance of equipment
- Ensure equipment is set and operating properly
- Notify customers or office if any maintenance is necessary
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous water treatment experience is preferred
- Highly motivated and mechanically inclined individual
- Effective communication skills, analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- High energy level, self-motivation, enthusiasm and ability to work independently
- Demonstrated ability to understand plumbing (residential) flow and solder pipes
