Lead Responsibilities:
- Communicate department activities to meet product deadlines related to KPI’s
- Ensure safety and quality standards are met
- Responsible for paperwork is completed for efficient handoffs between shifts
- Support daily cleaning and maintenance inspections to ensure machines are in proper working order.
- Train new employees and coaching existing staff
- Participate in yearly audits including corrective actions
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills are preferred
- Experience in the manufacturing or food industry in a leadership role
- Experience overseeing a diverse team including training and reporting on inventory
- Experience or knowledge of lean manufacturing is beneficial
- Bilingual is a plus!
