Job Description
Bring your assembly skills to this growing team in Alexandria, MN! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Alexandria, MN. We are seeking candidates for Assembly Technician roles on 1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday). Compensation for these contract opportunities is $20.00 per hour.

What you'll do as an Assembly Technician:
- Assemble fundamental components in accordance to the work instructions utilizing a combination of hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
- Assemble entry-level products to meet established standards for quality, quantity, efficiency, and customer specifications.
- Communicate with appropriate parties in relation to expedited orders, component quality issues, inventory records, etc.
- Participate in the implementation of process improvements. ï‚· Participate in maintaining and suggesting safety practices and procedures.
- Maintain system accuracy and record transactions in ERP operating system.
What you'll bring to the Assembly Technician role:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
- Must have mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Strong sense of urgency and basic ability to prioritize in order to meet the expectations of the customer.
- Must be detail-oriented to provide the highest level of quality.
- Associates Degree in Fluid Power, Mechatronics, or related field or Certified Fluid Power Specialist, preferred.
