Job Description

Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with an area manufacturing company for opportunities in their St. Cloud, MN facility. We are seeking candidates for Assembly Technician roles on 1st and 2nd shift! 1st shift is from 6:30am-3:00pm, Monday through Friday and 2nd shift from 4:00pm-12:30am. Compensation for these opportunities is $24.05 per hour, plus a shift differential for 2nd shift! Interested? Read below for more information!
What you will do as an Assembly Technician:
What you will do as an Assembly Technician:
- Perform all installations and assemblies within a specified work area on the production line
- Prepare work to be accomplished by reviewing assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists
- Ensure quality and consistency in installations and assemblies within a specified work area
- Ensure the station is kept clean and in safe working condition
- Ability to use small hand and power tools repetitively, as well as measuring equipment and tools
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to read and follow intermediate measurements and instructions with a strong mechanical aptitude
- Must be a team player, a self-starter, and be able to work in a team setting
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to train on from 8:00am-4:30pm for first 2-3 weeks
