Job Description
Seeking a new manufacturing job? Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading truck manufacturing company in Hibbing, MN. We are seeking candidates for Assembler positions on the 2nd shift. Compensation for these opportunities is $20.00 per hour. Interested? Learn more below! What an Assembler will do:
- Interpret work orders, production routers, BOM, and product manuals
- Assemble electronic and mechanical assemblies
- Operate production equipment used in the assembly of printed circuit boards
- Manually position and align components in specified relationship to each other with or without jig, fixture, or other holding device
- Perform go-no-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards
- Perform intermediate assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, conformal coating, cleaning, epoxy bonding, and curing of assemblies
- Operate terminal crimping, wire stripping, wire braiding, and wire stamping equipment
- Box and label product according to standards
- Participation in team huddles, group projects and one on one communications
- Knowledge of ESD handling procedures
- Basic computer skills
- Mechanically inclined with fine motor skills
- Able to understand and comply with ISO9001 requirements
- Ability to utilize hand tools to perform assembly functions (ex. Screw drivers, measuring devices, adjustable end wrench, various crimping devices)
- Must be willing to be moved into various work areas in order to meet production requirements or where skills best serve department and company goals
- Must be willing to work overtime periods including weekends to meet production demands
- Must pass background and drug test
