Job Description
Always have weekends off with this new position! Doherty Staffing Solutions is currently partnering with a leading manufacturing company located in Grand Rapids, MN. We are seeking candidates for Assembler roles on the 1st shift. The hours for this position are 6:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Thursday with overtime on Fridays as needed. Compensation for this temp-to-hire role is $19.09 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information! What an Assembler will do:
- Follow work instructions to produce quality products in a safe and timely manner
- Use various manual and pneumatic tools to fit components together
- Inspects work for quality
- Install moving parts such as shafts, levers, or bearings, and work them to test free movement
- Install pipe and hose for hydraulic systems
- Disassemble and reassemble, when necessary, to ensure proper, quality assembly of product
- Test or assist in the testing operation of the completed product
- Responsible for keeping the area neat and orderly
- Keep daily records of serial numbers and other paperwork #WorkNow
- 6+ months of related experience in assembly, using manuals and pneumatic tools
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and letters/memos
- Ability to accurately record data and verify information
