Job Description

We are seeking candidates for Spot Welding Machine Operator roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these opportunities ranges between $19.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. What you will do as a Spot Welding Machine Operator:
What you will do as a Spot Welding Machine Operator:
- Perform ordinary and repetitive MIG arc welding operations
- Operate welding equipment
- Regulate current and voltage or gas and feed rate for proper fusion of metals
- Plan and layout welding sequence, referring to drawings, blueprints, or specifications
- Layout and mark weld points on parts or assemblies using rule, square, scribe, or templates
- Clamp parts in relative position to specification or drawing
- Position pieces to be welded into jigs or guides using measuring instruments, portable power, and hand tools
- Self-motivated with the ability to support the company’s quality and customer service go-to-market strategy within the commercial door and hardware industry
- Custom fabrication ability
- A skill set for moderately complex orders will be expected upon a pre-determined training period
- Must have a concern for safety and quality control
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must adhere to company policies and procedures
- Heavy lifting may be required
