HR Generalist - Direct Hire
Job Description
What you’ll do as a HR Generalist:
- Assist in communicating and applying company policies and procedures and promote a deeper understanding within the site
- Manage the recruitment and hiring process for the site's open positions and perform the full life cycle of recruiting activities including sourcing and screening applicants, maintaining recruiting systems, drafting offer letters, and providing follow-through with candidates
- Ensure proper administration of annual performance reviews and merit increase cycle
- Assist with discipline procedures and termination process to ensure all employees are treated fairly
- Develop and organize staff training sessions, workshops, and other activities as needed
- Manage site’s new employee on-boarding activities: answer employee questions and provide support to mangers when integrating new hires into the organization
- Familiar with benefit program details and effectively respond to any benefits-related concerns
- Maintain employee records (i.e., new hire, termination, change of status)
- Address employee relations issues and conduct investigations
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience in HR Generalist work
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Exhibit a high level of professional conduct, integrity, and accountability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR Management Systems
- Knowledge of Labor Law, and risk avoidance
